Liberation Museum

It is near the State Hospital. It was built in 1903. The mansion, which has a feature that combines European-style mansion architecture with traditional Urfa house architecture and spreads over a fairly large area, is composed of regular cut stone structures in the harem and selamlık sections. It is possible to see cannon and bullet marks from those days on its walls. It was restored by the Şanlıurfa Governorship in 2005 and was put into service as the "Şanlıurfa Liberation Museum" on April 11, 2009. The weapons, tools and equipment used during the enemy occupation of Şanlıurfa are exhibited in the Liberation Museum. The mummified statues of the 12 people who started the liberation movement of Şanlıurfa from enemy occupation are exhibited.
