Mehmet Kasım GÜLPINAR

Born in 1969 in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa, Mehmet Kasım Gülpınar began his education in Ankara and completed his high school education at Ankara Özel Tevfik Fikret High School. He then graduated from the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the Faculty of Language, History and Geography at Ankara University. Gülpınar began his career in academia after university and worked as a teacher at the Ankara University Turkish and Foreign Language Research and Application Center (TÖMER). Following this position, which was a reflection of the importance he gave to education, he moved on to the public sector; he worked as a translator at the Export Development Center within the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade. He continued his bureaucratic career as a political consultant and private secretary at the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of State. The experience he gained at different levels of the state during this period prepared him for a long-term legislative career at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM).
