Şanlıurfa Municipality nationalized and restored the "Yasin's Coffee House" in Harrankapı, where the once heart of Şanlıurfa music beat, and transformed the historical venue into a "Music Museum". The name of the Music Museum was given after İbrahim Tatlıses by a majority vote of Şanlıurfa Municipal Council Members. It is possible to get to know Şanlıurfa artists up close at the İbrahim Tatlıses Music Museum, which was opened on September 25, 2011. In the Music Museum, in addition to artists who continue their art life today, the pictures of deceased artists are exhibited with wax sculptures. The museum displays instruments from the past to the present, photographs of artists and articles describing their lives.
